Naomi Shihab Nye has published more than a dozen books of poetry and fiction, most recently “Cast Away: Poems for Our Time” (Greenwillow Books, 2020) and “The Tiny Journalist” (BOA Editions, 2019). A singular voice in American letters, Nye writes poems of empathy and insight, inspired by her Arab American experience, her connection to the Southwest United States, and her attention to the displaced and marginalized.
