Enjoy dinner and special guest speaker historian and author Scott Ellsworth at this popular annual fundraising event.

Special guest speaker Scott Ellsworth will talk about his book, The Secret Game: A Wartime Story of Courage, Change, and Basketball’s Lost Triumph. The Secret Game tells the story of James Naismith’s last protégé at the University of Kansas, Coach John McLendon, and the 1944 game-changing illegal basketball competition between the North Carolina College for Negroes and the all-white military team from the Duke Medical School.
