The In Between- Opening Reception

An exhibition at the All Souls Gallery in KCMO, opening on May 6th, 2022. The opening reception for this exhibition is May 6th from 6-8pm. Come see all new work by Allison Bowman and enjoy some light refreshments. The artwork in this exhibition are all new collages created using images of Allison’s paintings, dried plants and flowers, different types of paper, and cut out birds and butterflies. The process of creating these collages has to do with the balance between the conscious and subconscious mind. How do artists create? Is creative making a conscious or subconscious act for artists?
