Creating an environment where culture, art, and community connect. Located in the heart of the Kansas City Cross Roads Art District, Habitat Contemporary occupies gallery space in the iconic Leedy-Voulkas Art Center. Habitat Contemporary exhibits new exhibitions every 6 weeks and will extend invitations to artists and art professionals to discuss regional arts and culture.

Our Response to COVID-19:
Habitat Contemporary values the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, to ensure are valued guests have a safer experience the following health precautions are in place.
Social distancing of 6 feet are expected with individuals or groups. Groups should remain together respecting a six feet distance from other visitors.
Masks are required. If you happen to forget your own mask, a disposable mask will be made available.
Hand sanitizer is also available for our guests.
We will observe capacity mandates as instructed by Kansas City Health Department.
